TAX ANALYST:
--to gather, analyze and quantify and evaluate data
--to prepare and review tax returns and other regulatory filings
--to develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of tax legislation
--to participate in special projects such as tax planning, tax
research, and tax forecasting
--to develop an in-depth understanding of the Company's lines of
business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a min of 1 yr Fed Tax experience gained within a
multidivisional/multisite organization, or within the tax group of a
Big 6 acctg firm providing service to Fortune 500 companies.
Individuals must possess strong oral and written communication skills,
as well as a knowledge of research methodology.
Proficiency in PC spreadsheets and word processing material.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in
tax, as well as strong analytical abilities.
Candidates will possess a high level of professionalism and strong
work ethic.
The ideal person will be self-motivated and energetic. Long hours are
sometimes required and individuals must be willing to "do what it
takes" and to "go the extra mile".
Excellent time mgmt skills are needed. The successful candidate will
be able to juggle several projects concurrently, set appropriate
priorities, and work under tight timeline constraints.
SENIOR ANALYST POSITION:
This position will provide the successful candidate with an excellent
opportunity to further build upon his/her finance, quantitative,
analytical and computer modeling skills, as well as receive exposure
to one of the most highly respected Treasury and Investments groups
in Corp. America.

PLANNER, OPERATIONS PLANNING RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Operations Planning Dept of the Walt Disney Co. is seeking a
highly qualified candidate with an excellent academic record,
demonstrated quantitative and financial abilities, and outstanding
leadership skills for a Planner position.
Specifically the Planner will analyze historical and forecasted
business unit profit performance; and, identify, research and
recommend major issues for business unit analysis and senior mgmt.
focus. The Planner will also play a key role is the corporate review
of business unit annual operating and capital plans, as well as
develop and maintain a database which tracks business drivers. In
addition, the Planner will also provide analytical support for
projects requested by the Controller, CFO, and CEO. This position
will also require the Planner to maintain on-going communication with
their assigned business unit and the Strategic Planning Dept on
related projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess an outstanding graduate academic record,
particularly in Finance, statistics, and econ coursework. Candidates
will have successful work experience preferably in a financial
planning role, with the ability to do forecasting and operational
analysis. Strong spreadsheet/modeling skills a must.
Candidates must have strong analytical aptitude and excellent
conceptual and organizational skills. The ability to work in a highly
organized and effective manner, combined with strong interpersonal
skills and the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
Excellent writing capability, combined with knowledge of
spreadsheets, databases, and word processing systems is required.
In addition, successful candidates will have a pro-active nature and
the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Excellent follow-through skills and the ability to prioritize is
essential. The Planner will be detailed oriented, highly motivated, a
