GCC is committed to make the transition to Olin and St. Louis as smooth as possible for students from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Chinese students from every region of the world. We will welcome the new students with our traditional annual BBQ and, throughout the school year, organize social events where students can take a break from the rigorous course work.
Olin also offers numerous social events where students can interact and relax. The Friday Afternoon Club (FAC) is an event throughout the year sponsored by different student organizations. Free food and drinks are abundant at these events and the students, staff and faculty gather to relax and enjoy the informal interactions. At Olin, there are many student organizations that serve different purpose. Each student is certain to find at least one organization that will enhance his or her academic experience. Most of the students are involved in two or three student organizations.
